Editing the Menu

  1. On the left hand side, go to Appearance > Menu
  2. Make sure the FUSD Menu (Main Menu) is selected at top.
  3. To reorder items, drag and drop them.
  4. To reorder entire columns of items, do not drag and drop. Instead, hover over the top heading to get the Mega Menu button for more options. From there you can move the columns.
  5. To delete an item, click on the arrow to its right and click Remove.
  6. Click Save Menu when done.

Adding an Existing Page onto the Menu

  1. Under the Add menu items section, click on Pages.
  2. Select View All tab to get an alphabetized list of all pages.
  3. Check the box next to the page you want to add.
  4. Click Add to Menu.
  5. The new item will display at the bottom of the menu structure. Drag and drop the item to where you want it on the menu.
  6. Click Save Menu when done.

Adding a Custom Link onto the Menu

  1. Under the Add menu items section, click on Custom Links.
  2. In the URL box, enter the web address of the page. If you want to create a title that isn’t a link, enter # here instead.
  3. In the Link Text box, enter the title of the link.
  4. Click Add to Menu.
  5. The new item will appear at the bottom of the menu structure. Drag and drop the item to where you want it on the menu.
  6. Click Save Menu when done.

Helpful Tips

  • There is no undo button for the menu. Be sure to document the original menu structure before making significant changes.
  • Don’t change any Max Mega Menu Settings
  • Do click on Save Menu often
  • Edit only the FUSD Menu (Main Menu). Keep the District Logo Menu or Skip Menu as is.
  • If you want to change the image on the menu, use an image that is 200 pixels wide and 134 pixels high.
